Pocket of Fools Theatre bring, the curriculum GCSE text to life and to your school, in our own unique creative way, keeping true to the authors original words and text, but giving the Pocket of Fools twist and making it relevant for modern audiences.
With memorable characters, action and imaginative story telling, students will remember quotes, plot and stage directions ready to answer any questions that may come up in their up coming exams.
Full Question and answers sessions are offered after the plays, with the actors having fountains of knowledge and extended research into the plays and the type of questions that will appear on the GCSE papers.

Charles Dickens classic ‘A Christmas Carol’ is the quintessential Representation of the Christmas Spirit in the UK. Follows the story of the mean money lender Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited 4 ghost in their endeavour to save his mortal soul, by teaching him the true meaning of Christmas. This show is told through the Original language of the acclaimed 19th century writer Charles Dickens and covers themes, Redemption, Community, Greed, Social injustice, Time and Christmas spirit.
It takes the audience back in time to the, “foul and narrow... wretched...slipshod, ugly” streets of London. In this “Cold, bleak, biting weather: foggy withal" tale with wit, energy and dynamic creative story telling. This promises to be a show the students will remember.
“Two households both alike in dignit”… Romeo and Juliet is the Shakespeare classic tragic tale of love, whirling romance, family feuds and death. We follow a pair of “star-crossed lovers” as they face the trials and tribulations of young love. Time, duality and fate all play a part in their doomed relationship. Set amongst the Rose buds and turnips of the Veronan allotment.
Our unique Innovative style, memorable characters and expert grasp and understanding of the language; combined with comedy and faced pace energy; keeps the action alive and makes it relatable and brings relevance to an old story, for new generations today.

Actors Arrive minimum of 45 minutes before the show, to set up.
Take 30 mins to pack away at end
3 actors all having enhanced. DBS certificates, which will be forwarded along with their pictures and ID beforehand.
We require a Car parking space to allow actors to unload props/set and costumes.
